  I have been working with Benefit Equity for seven years. Year over year, they continue to provide excellent service as the TPA of our 401(k) plan. Consistently partnering with me to educate my employees on the benefits of entering a 401(k) plan and help them understand how to participate without significant impact on their take home pay. They are willing to support me and my employees in both CA and NJ. They work hard to assist all employees at all levels within the organization, from our team members in the warehouse to our executives of the company. Everyone is guaranteed to get the same level of service. The team at Benefit Equity is all about dedication and service. No matter what questions I have, or tasks I need to get done, the team is always ready and willing to help.   As a former employee of Banc of California, Banc Home Loans, this firm administered the 401K plan. Thankfully I only spent 2 years with this bank and retired. When I was finally able to see where I stood with this plan placed at John Hancock retirement services, during a rising equities market I actually lost over 5% in value. The plan was not administered properly. When I filed to withdraw the funds, since the taxes would be minimal, the delay in processing the forms by Tania at this firm cost me an additional loss, and I was charged a fee never noted in the forms that they provided, for this "service". In fact the form states that if no fee is provided in that section none would be paid. I never received any paperwork showing this fee at any time. Calls to Banc of California have gone unanswered as well. If you have a choice, run from this company. They truly do not have a clue and will avoid you. I had to give them one star since posting did offer an option of none. They deserve no stars.
